Freehand

The Freehand tool  is most useful when making quick, free-form design notes. Use this tool to draw irregular hand-drawn lines that follow the movement of your pointer. Enable the freehand mode in the Tools menu available on the left of your screen. Click and hold to place the starting point of your drawing. Drag the cursor to draw and release the mouse button to stop drawing. The segments smoothen when you finish the sketch.

All lines drawn in this mode become diagram elements. You can select them and see the control points on the corners and midpoints. Use them to resize the drawing. Rotation is available via the curled arrow button; click it and drag to rotate. You can also delete and duplicate it using the corresponding buttons. Additional options can be accessed via the context menu.

Double click on the line switches you to the Shape mode where you are able to edit the drawing.
